Student Health & Counseling Services

Student Health & Counseling Services is a fully accredited outpatient clinic staffed by Board Certified Physicians, and licensed Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, and Counselors. Student Health & Counseling Services offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services.

California State Uuniversity East Bay (CSUEB) has created a network of structures, policies and procedures for working with at-risk students (including the potentially violent student) for the purposes of providing support to the individual student and ensuring a safe campus environment. With regard to students in distress, the university has the responsibility to set the policies and programs that promote a safe campus environment and to respond to students who are at risk or are an imminent danger to self or others. Each organizational unit of the campus involved in this effort has a specific set of functions. However, it is the interaction of the various units of the system that is crucial when encountering the complex cases involving at-risk students.

University Police Department (UPD)

The University Police Department is a professionally trained police department established pursuant to Section 89560 of the Education Code to fulfill the Public Safety needs of the campus Community. The department has primary responsibility for public safety on the Hayward and Contra Costa 糖心vlog传媒es and one mile beyond its borders.

Pioneers for H.O.P.E (Helping Our Pioneers Excel) 糖心vlog传媒's new intervention program will address the Chancellor's food and housing security initiatives to include wide-ranging efforts to immediately serve some of our most-at risk students facing homelessness, food insecurity, and other various crisis situations.

CAPP - Career Awareness and Preparation Program

The Institute for STEM Education is committed to building a career pipeline for all Cal State East Bay students as they prepare to enter the workforce. The CAPP program focuses on leveraging our partnerships to create professional communities that are accessible and equitable to future and current employees from all backgrounds.
