Reorder Content Types / Items

Overview

Cascade CMS allows users to reorder child content types or items within their parent content types.

How To Reorder Content Types?

  1. Log in to and select your site.
  2. Locate the page that contains the content type or items you would like to reorder.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Use the Down or Up arrows next to main to move the content type Down or Up.

  5. For items within content types, locate them under Main > [Content Type] > Item.  Use the arrows next to the item to reorder.

  6. Select Save & Preview.

  7. Select Submit.

  8. Enter Comments for changes made.

  9. Select Check Content & Submit to add changes to your site.

  10. After you have selected Check Content & Submit (Cascade Server will check for spelling, broken links and accessibility).  Once the check has been completed, select the Check Box.

  11. When you're ready to go live, the last step is to Publish the Changes.
